Ivanka Majic from Brighton in the United Kingdom woke up to a tweet from none other than Donald Trump after the president-elect accidentally (we assume) tweeted her Twitter username instead of his daughter Ivanka's.
"@Ivanka Trump is great", Goodstein was at pains to inform her father.
Ms. Majic said: "I get a mixed bag of people thinking that I'm Ivanka Trump and some of them are nice and some of them aren't nice".
The user tagged the wrong Ivanka, a mistake repeated by Trump - and the message was directed to a woman named Ivanka Majic in Brighton, southern England. "A woman with real character and class".
The US president-elect mistakenly retweeted a compliment meant for Ivanka Trump after a CNN program on his daughter. Almost 5,000 people have retweeted the erroneous tweet.
Later, Pygas published another tweet, showing a screenshot of Goodstein blocking him on Twitter. "You're right. RIP her mentions though". "May I suggest more care on Twitter and more time learning about #climatechange".
Ivanka Trump, daughter of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, speaks during a grand opening ceremony of the new Trump International Hotel.
Majic told the BBC that the first she knew of the incident was when she "came downstairs to check my phone and I had so many notifications".
From attending Donald Trump's transition meetings with high profile personalities like the Japanese prime minister and technology leaders, Ivanka Trump has recently made clear that she wants to be involved in policy-making for women and girls.
