There were some well-deserved championship victories, good matches, and some complete duds.
Bray Wyatt won his first WWE Championship last night at Elimination Chamber when he pinned AJ Styles to conclude an excellent six-man elimination match. And for those seven weeks, no matter what happens at Mania, wrestling fans should enjoy the run that we have, as the reign of Bray Wyatt officially begins. Even though this was generally expected by those who are up with internet rumors, to see the Wyatt Family's patriarch actually do the damn thing, after so many years of never quite reaching the top, felt sensational. Harper then challenged Orton to a match at Elimination Chamber, where he lost to Orton. When she got a rematch with the belt on the line, Alexa had help from another woman dressed in La Luchadora's attire. The move elevates SmackDown's women's division by making Naomi a star (Take note, Raw). Between the Funkadactyls, injuries, Team B.A.D., and being overlooked in the Women's Revolution, Naomi finally broke through and won the gold.
There is a quick turnaround for WWE as Smackdown presents the Elimination Chamber tonight, just two weeks after the Royal Rumble.
The rest of the show was fairly uneventful, aside from some very questionable booking decisions and a fun match between Randy Orton and Luke Harper.

In this era of generic characters and matches with little stakes, Bray had something unique going for him, despite the company's best attempts to quash it: mystique.
Corbin takes out both Styles and Ziggler
American Alpha, feeling a bit cocky, seemed to invite disaster by saying they had no competition on SmackDown Live!
When Jey Uso tried to roll Jason Jordan up, Gable came and hit him with an incredible pinning combination to eliminate the Usos.
We will definitely get some light on the future storyline of the five other participants in the Elimination Chamber encounter and tonight's show of the WWE Smackdown could just be the beginning of that.
While fans are coming to terms with the fact that Bray Wyatt is finally our WWE Champion, it doesn't seem like he's going to be getting much time to celebrate his big win. It's possible that The Miz, also a part of the Chamber match, costs Cena the title to set up their rumored feud. Curt Hawkins match from the kickoff show, but let's go ahead and jump right into the action on the main show instead.
