Wolves' Wiggins leaves his mark against Cavs

King James showed off that last quality with a no-look pass which bent time and space during the second quarter of Tuesday's (Wednesday Manila time) game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Minnesota Timberwolves. That essentially sealed the win for the Cavaliers. But, Tuesday morning, the team announced that Love had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee to remove loose body, a procedure that would keep him out of action for approximately six weeks.

But James put up 25 points and 14 assists as the Cavs won for the sixth time in seven games.

In all five matchups Wiggins has scored 20 or more points, with an average of 27.6.

Wiggins had a monster game for the Wolves, finishing with 41 points, three rebounds and two assists.

- Minnesota (82.5) and Cleveland (81.8) rank third and fourth in the National Basketball Association in points per game by starters. They beat the Timberwolves 125-97 on Feb 1.

The Cavs had 13 second chance points to the Wolves' six. Tristan Thompson added 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Wiggins finished shooting 16-for-29 from the field, 4-for-8 from three and went 5-for-6 from the free throw line.

The layup came just moments after James had nailed a step back three pointer. "He really is a great player and we need more of that". Kyle Lowry scored 22 points, and DeMar DeRozan had 18 for Toronto.

Fresh off a win against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Cavs return home for for their final game prior the All-Star break.
