Bouchard Dates Fan After Losing Bet

A 20-year-old college student tweeted back, "If Patriots win, we go on a date?"

With a new spread in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit and a hot date with a Twitter fan, life seems to be looking up for Genie Bouchard.

Surely all 20-year-old Missouri student John Goehrke cares about is the tennis star and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model he'll be sitting next to after flying into NY on Wednesday afternoon.

So when a Twitter user bet her a date that the Patriots would win, the Canadian tennis star accepted.

The outing, to an NBA Brooklyn Net's Game, was the result of a bet on twitter during the U.S.Super Bowl.

Wonder who paid for the tickets? She said the next day, "I will do it, I stay true to my word", although not before having some fun with the possibility of being in a regretful mood. But that's not even the best part for John.

It might be love at first bet for Eugenie Bouchard. She must not have taken into account Tom Brady's presence on the field. Bouchard keeps her word. "On our way to the @BrooklynNets game!"

Goehrke felt differently and responded to Bouchard's tweet with, "if patriots win we go on a date?"

The Bucks beat the Nets 129-125.

"Probably less awkward than maybe a one-on-one dinner since I didn't know John".

Not long after posting that tweet, a fan named John Goehrke offered Bouchard a wager. When asked by TMZ whether there'd be a second date, Bouchard paused and then unconvincingly said, "for sure!".

"I just thought to myself it's not over".
