Here's a first look at 'Jurassic World 2'

This is the first image we've had from the upcoming sequel Jurassic World, one of the highest-grossing movies of all time.

Jurassic World 2 is being directed by The Orphanage's J.A. Bayona, and it'll be in theaters next year. It's not known who the girl is, but some have speculated it's a character called Lucy, due to a casting call that was put out.

"Walking in giant footsteps", Trevorrow tweeted, meanwhile Bayona said, "So excited to show you this!" Today, the studio has made a decision to give fans their very first look photo taken from the upcoming Jurassic Park installment.

Chaplin joins a cast that includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, Ted Levine, and James Cromwell.

Jurassic World's director, Colin Trevorrow, will co-write the screenplay with Derek Connolly, but will not be directing the next installment of the franchise.

Trevorrow also indicated that the film might deal with the notion of dinosaur cloning technology going "open source" in the future.

Frank Marshall and Steven Spielberg will produce the film, which is scheduled for a release on June 22, 2018.
