Utah Jazz center Jeff Withey faces domestic violence probe

Tim Zins said earlier in the day that a police report had been filed accusing Withey of domestic violence.

Former Playboy Playmate, Kennedy Summers, apparently has filed a report with the Manhattan Beach, CA police stating that Withey abused her several times throughout their time together.

According to TMZ, the report was filed Tuesday in Manhattan Beach, Calif., and lists multiple alleged incidents, including one a year ago in which police were called. Summers resides in California, and has reportedly been concerned for her safety and well-being now that Withey will be in a close proximity to her while his team travels close to the area.

Withey got engaged previous year before breaking up in October.

Thursday morning, the Utah Jazz released a statement saying that they were aware of the media reports, but were still "collecting information" and would have "no further comment until we have a better understanding of the situation".

TMZ, which first reported the allegations, said the report discussed "multiple alleged incidents", including one from 2016, but did not give any other details on what Summers told police.

Utah's backup center with Rudy Gobert injured, Withey, 27, played in 51 games this season for the Jazz, averaging 2.9 points and 2.4 rebounds.
