Embiid averaged 20.2 points-per-game, with 7.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists, while displaying the ability to be an elite defender.
Embiid played just 31 games, but made a large impact during that time. One argument that some voters will use in his favor is that he played all 82 games this season. This one is going to be a close one with The Process clearly being the best rookie last season, but only playing in 31 games is definitely going to cost him some votes.
Joining Brogdon in the final trio is a pair of Philly prospects: Dario Saric (who is pretty good, I guess) and Joel Embiid (who is incredible 25% of the time, and sadly absent 75% of the time). Saric was also Rookie of the Month in February and March.
Embiid and Saric, the first teammates to be up for an award, were each drafted in 2014, with Embiid going No. 3, and Saric going No. 12.
Brogdon finished the year with 10.2 points and 4.2 assists, and shot 45.7 percent from the field and 40.4 percent from three.
The victor will be announced Monday, June 26.
