The San Antonio Spurs (12-1) and Boston Celtics (15-1) have the next best odds. It is more than likely that they both return to the Bay Area given the success that they had together this season.

The 2017 NBA Finals showed that the Cavaliers aren't equipped to beat the Warriors as now assembled, and LeBron James is growing older with heavy mileage from his many trips to the NBA Finals combined with Olympic and other global appearances. They were ideal in the Western Conference, sweeping the Portland Trail Blazers, Utah Jazz and Spurs.

After 10 years playing in the league, an MVP season, one lost final and negative attention after his decision to join the Warriors and leave Oklahoma, Kevin Durant finally became a champion. "But at the end of the day from when I played him in the 2012 Finals to now, experience is the best teacher in life, and he's just experiencing and experiencing and experiencing". But after losing to the Cavs in the Finals, they added Kevin Durant to a terrific core.

But that idea fizzled fast when the Warriors opened with a pair of lopsided wins at home, fought back late to steal the next game in Cleveland and then, after dropping their first game of the postseason, closed out the series at home.

Throughout these years it seemed that Durant wants a championship ring not because of himself, but as a gift to his mother and all the sacrifices that she made in order to provide a future for her son.

Kerr was hired as the Warriors' coach on May 19, 2014 and guided the team to a 67-15 regular-season record and an National Basketball Association championship in 2014-15.

But the statistic most will point to after Cleveland's loss to Golden State is James' 3-5 record record in the Finals. They've got 3/1 championship odds.

Cleveland pulled within 108-102 on a Kyle Korver three-pointer, but again Durant had an answer with a dunk. "They did a great job, their front office and their players, by doing that recruiting, the things that they did in the summertime, and obviously it paid dividends". Boston owns the No.1 overall draft pick, which could potentially be traded for a star player.

For a short while, it looked like the Spurs might be able to challenge the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals.

Durant is so dedicated to winning multiple championships that he is reportedly considering taking less money from the team in order to free up space to re-sign key reserves like Shaun Livingston and Andre Iguodala.
