This will continue the series' good relationship with Final Fight, as we'll be receiving Abigail, as well as the Final Fight-inspired Metro City Arena, both of which are available on July 25.
Following rumors and speculations, Capcom has announced the next character that will be joining the Street Fighter V roster in the ongoing second season. He's also the first Canadian combatant to be playable in any Street Fighter title. Another hulking member of the gang, Hugo, previously appeared in the franchise in Street Fighter 3: Second Impact, but it is now Abigail's turn to wreak havoc. Abigail served as one of the bosses of the later stages, but here he is in Street Fighter V, literally towering over the competition.
To celebrate three decades of dudes setting each other's flesh aflame with Hadoukens, Capcom is releasing a retro stage and three old school outfits for Street Fighter V on July 25. It's called Metro City Bay Area, and shows Abigail's Scrap Metal yard in the background.
Capcom France has shared an image on Twitter of what appears to be the next stage to be added in the game. Meanwhile, it remains unclear how the Suzaku Castle stage can be acquired.
The Season 2 character pass is being sold for $30. The latter will cost players $29.99, and comes with the other DLC characters for season two.
