While the game's single-player and multiplayer modes have been showcased already, its highly anticipated cooperative zombie mode is still under wraps, with the developer only releasing a few teaser images to keep the hordes of fans at bay. The leak certainly spoils the months-long buildup to the official reveal.
Call of Duty's return to World War II was officially confirmed back in April, taking a much-needed break from the streak of modern and futuristic shooters the franchise has been popping out over the years.
"And this year, we'll be revealing more about the backstory of this year's Zombies co-op mode at Comic-Con on July 20". Then the zombies are shown, which appear to be more decrepit and gruesome than their traditional depictions in other media. Call of Duty: WWII will be making its way to Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 3rd, 2017.
