HTC's U11 was launched back in May, and the phone's camera still has the highest score on DxOMark.
According to the new reports which we have, it looks like this new HTC U11 Life will be the same device "HTC Ocean Life" device, which we have been hearing about for the last few months.
To begin with, there will be a 5.2-inch Full HD display at the front with the Snapdragon 630 SoC under-the-hood. The phone may be quite durable, too, as an IP67 water and dust resistance rating is being rumored, matching the U11 and the Apple iPhone 7.
At the time of HTC U11 launch in India, the company announced that it will be introducing new Edge Sense features to the smartphone with upcoming updates but sadly it seems that it hasn't made any additions in this regard with new update. In the camera department, the device packs a 12MP rear camera with F/1.7 aperture, 4K recording, auto focus, LED Flash, and face detection.
HTC did not provide sales guidance or an earnings outlook in the statement, although it reiterated the strength of its U11 flagship handset and said the ecosystem for its Vive virtual reality headset has gained support from industry players such as Google, Intel Corp and Apple Inc.
The U11 Life may not equal the U11 in power, but numerous best U11 features should still be present.
