Ramiro Funes Mori, Yannick Bolasie and Seamus Coleman are long-term absentees while James McCarthy and Aaron Lennon are not yet match fit.

"To replace Lukaku is really hard", said manager Koeman.

Koeman clearly no longer considers returning star Wayne Rooney as an out and out striker and, rather, the Dutchman is looking for a collective effort to replace Lukaku's prodigious output.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Morgan Schneiderlin, Idrissa Gueye and Leighton Baines are joined in the middle of the park by Davy Klaassen on his debut, while Jordan Pickford also gets his first run-out between the sticks. Stoke are embarking on their 10th consecutive Premier League season. They've bought in players, spent money and they are having a go though, so fair play to them. They are a solid team and should be good for a run in the Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup, but I can't see them breaking into the top six because their squad is not as strong as those above. This side plays some attractive football and they have done well in the past few seasons so I am interested in seeing how they play.
