In Quickplay, matchmaking will be much shorter in favor of the action, while Competitive will feature a longer matchmaking time in order to ensure that the skill level of the competing players will be more closely matched. With that in mind, Bungie is gearing up to drop some changes with said beta. There are also changes rolled out for Competitive matches of the game. There's good reason for this, because matchmaking will take more time to "introduce you to players that are closer to you in skill with a good connection". For the Destiny 2 beta, the developer didn't have to prove anything - the goal was just to make sure the game would run.

He added that PC players will experience this in the game's upcoming PC Beta. The winning score in Control has been extended from 75 to 100 to allow for more time to play and use your abilities.
Bungie has also revealed that while the overlay functionalities of hardware performance monitors will not be compatible with the game, they will still be able to function in the background. Among these include fixing the Infinite Super, Infinite Grenades, [VIDEO] and the Warlock Glide glitches.

TWEAKED: Increased Grenade Damage in PvE Increased damage helps Grenades feel as powerful as they should facing hordes of alien combatants and, more specifically, makes the longer cooldowns more palatable.

Taking all of this into consideration, it looks as if Destiny 2's campaign is shaping up quite nicely, and could offer a much more sumptuous and satisfying experience than its predecessor.

Destiny 2 PC open beta is expected to become available on the 29th of August, while users who have pre-ordered the game will enjoy a one-day early access giving them a headstart. Heavy ammo can also be directly farmed from all Yellow Bar Combatants. The PC beta will conclude for everyone August 31, less than a week before Destiny 2 releases on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
