The film stars the likes of Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan, and is a reimagining of the popular 1990s movie, which is set for cinemas later this year.

It has been a while since it was officially announced that a 1995's comedy Jumanji will get its sequel which will star Dwayne The Rock Johnson in the main role. "Jack said to me one day, "You know, we really should call this Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,'" Kasdan said".

So, as the new trailers shows us, it changes forms and becomes a video game for four teenagers (Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, Ser'Darius Blane, and Morgan Turner) to discover while cleaning out their school's basement.

Thanks to the latest preview, we have a pretty firm grip on what to expect from Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and exactly what our characters are up against as they try to navigate the challenges of the digital jungle.

The Jumanji reboot sees a group of modern teens sucked into a video game and forced to play their way through the jungle. The trailers show us more of the video game aspects such as the number of lives for each Avatar. Among the concepts introduced: Each player will have three lives, which introduces some tension into the story.
