Forecasters expect highs of 81 in St. Lawrence County Wednesday with light winds of 5 to 9 miles per hour. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72.

Wednesday's forecast calls for sunny skies with a high of 79 and an overnight low of 47.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m.

Monday, there is a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a high near 82, the weather service said. Mostly sunny skies and mild afternoon highs are expected across the plains.

Northwest winds will gust from 10 to 20 mph increasing to 15 to 25 mph with local gusts to 35 mph in the afternoon. With a very light west wind it looks to be another warm day with temps warming to around 90 degrees along the US 17 corridor to some lower 90's across inland.

Some showers could linger into Saturday mostly near the GA coast but drier air will be filtering in from the north during the day. Partly cloudy, with a low around 64.
