Ready to go: New England TE Rob Gronkowski indicated he'll be in uniform on Sunday after an injury scare last week.
Amendola declared himself "good to go" tomorrow when the Patriots host the Texans at Gillette Stadium.
Gronkowski injured his groin during New England's 36-20 win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 2. "Just preparing for the Houston Texans". Gronkowski was back at practice on Wednesday, as were wide receiver Danny Amendola and linebacker Dont'a Hightower.
"It was rough sitting out last week, watching the guys, and they played really well".
The tight end has been plagued by injuries over his career, as he hasn't played a full 16-game schedule since 2011. Just out there giving it what we got at practice, getting good practice reps in, and studying up hard.
Feel free to comment below and tell us your keys to Sunday's game if the Texans are going to have a shot at pulling off an upset. He returned to practice this week on a limited basis, as he is still listed with a concussion and knee injury, but he said he'll be cleared for Sunday. And due to the Aaron Hernandez lawsuit against the Patriots and National Football League, which cited the deceased tight end's advanced case of CTE, Amendola was asked if he was at all anxious about that disease. "I'm prepared. I know what I signed up for". I'm excited about the game this weekend."Gronk's status was in question after he was listed as a limited participant at practice this week".
