Buffalo drove the ball to the Denver 46 on the ensuing drive, and Miller pressured quarterback Tyrod Taylor on a 3rd and 6 wth 7:43 to go.
Miller, who said he and Taylor had been "laughing and joking" all game, then offered Taylor his hand to help him before he quickly pulled it away. "They play as a team and that's how you play good defense".
In case you missed it, Miller was flagged for essentially doing nothing more than joking (pulling the too slow/fake handshake move) with Taylor after knocking him to the ground.
Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor was 10 of 10 on first-down passes for 92 yards and a touchdown. Buffalo wasn't as dominant as it had been last Sunday, when it sacked Cam Newton six times and held the Panthers to three field goals.
While Taylor was surprised that the gesture was called for a penalty, he wasn't complaining about its effect on the game. Two others were foiled by picks and there was also a risky fake punt that was stuffed on 4th-and-2 at the Denver 31.

Taylor's game Sunday drew comparisons to last season's primetime showing versus Seattle, where he went 27 of 38 for 289 yards and one touchdown. "I just can't kill us". One thing about it, I'm always, regardless, I always learn from my mistakes, I just can't kill us.
"Once I saw the offensive linemen run out on the field, I said the linemen are not about to run down the field to cover the kick". Have thoughts on how the Broncos and Bills are performing? I don't do anything with quarterbacks, " Miller said. "Let's be clear about that", Buffalo's star tailback LeSean McCoy said. "And Tyrod was cool and collected and he was like, 'Hey guys c'mon we've got to be smarter and make sure we finish these drives.' Fortunately, we were able to".
"We had a late sub on the field so we kind of gave them time to adjust", coach Vance Joseph said.
The penalty allowed the Bills to run more time off the clock before Stephen Hauschka converted his fourth field goal of the afternoon, and the Bills won, 26-16.
"I got played in the situation... ultimately, it worked out for the better of us". He added 13 yards on eight carries. "I just have to be better than that and I will be better than that".
In the fourth quarter of the Broncos' game against the Bills, defensive end Von Miller chose to have some fun with Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor.
"Tyrod responded in a major way today", McCoy said. "I'm very confident putting the ball in (Taylor's) hands and letting him lead us". We had a couple plays today that got away from us but they are a resilient bunch.
