The Rock And Tyrese's 'Furious' Feud Took Its Weirdest Turn Yet

The Rock And Tyrese's 'Furious' Feud Took Its Weirdest Turn Yet

It all began when the actor/musician caught wind of The Rock's 2019 standalone spinoff film Hobbs, which he said is "stalling production" for the ninth installment of the Fast and the Furious franchise.

To continue the beef, on Wednesday Tyrese posted a video of Johnson hilariously mocking his 2015 R&B album, Black Rose. "I heard the whole thing in my trailer and I've got to say in all honesty...it's the biggest piece of dog s**t that I have ever heard". He suggests Black Rose should be retitled "Big Piece of Black Dog Sh*t", and that he's never going to "f*cking forgive" Tyrese for "wasting my time" with his "soft dog sh*t" of an album. "Not even the hard dried up dog sh-t ..." Gotta love the actor's attention to detail.

Further, the announcement of the changes came after one of the co-stars, Tyrese Gibson indicted Dwayne Johnson of trying to take the credits all alone for creating the follow-on movie from the action movie franchise.

In the caption, Tyrese calls The Rock a "hater", and refers to his project as one of the best RNB slash soul albums of all time.

But the Death Race actor wasn't done yet: 'He's the reason we're pushing the release date back now, ' he said of Johnson. You might not see them side by side any time like that leading up to the release of Fast and Furious 9, now due out in 2020. It's like dog sh-t is in my ear. Pumped to expand and build out the FAST & FURIOUS universe in a cool, exciting way with our @sevenbucksprod, writer/producer Chris Morgan, producer Hiram Garcia and lead producer and my bigger twin, Neil Moritz. "#MyLastPost today.... I got 3 years of venting on this clown - They offered but YOU didn't have to agree with a solo #HobbsMovie #OriginalFastFamily we salute you and stand on your shoulders #VinDiesel #PaulWalker #RobCohen #RomanTej were offered a spin off we TURNED IT DOWN!" It appears that he's so focused on furthering his own self interests.

"Everyone is coming at me like I'm hating on Dwayne about his spin-off".

On Monday, Johnson responded to the feud with an Instagram post. "It's because we announced and KEPT our release date bro". Johnson sees the film's universe expanding to other medium like television and virtual reality. I have a deep respect for this franchise in which I've participated in and I want to create great opportunities not only for my colleagues at FF but also for other great players that would like to be part of something new and cool.
