'The Evil Within 2' Launch Trailer Is A Nightmare

Developer Tango Gameworks promises The Evil Within 2 will deliver greater freedom alongside the series' trademark scares.

With the launch of Shinji Mikami's The Evil Within 2 this week, a launch trailer has arrived to help people better understand the position Detective Sebastian Castellanos is in. Of course, with all of the creepy monsters and eerie environments you'll be exploring, many have been wondering if The Evil Within 2 makes use of the PS4 Pro's extra power to really up the immersion.

The real question that should be asked as of this moment is will there be any affiliation between The Evil Within 2 and Creation Club? "Sebastian must rescue Lily before everything falls apart and they are both lost in STEM", says Bethesda. After the events of the first game, he lost it all.

According to Bethesda, this will be a story about redemption - Sebastian's chance to win back not only his former life, but his daughter as well.

During all of this, you'll be moving through The Union, a city that has grown within the STEM world that Lily is at the core of.

One of the year's most-anticipated horror games hits our shelves and digital storefronts today -cannily enough, on Friday the 13th, with the release of Bethesda and Tango Gameworks' The Evil Within 2.

As always, I'm sure videos on day one and beyond will show how buggy or complete the game is and whether it has significant gameplay elements or not.
