Aaron Rodgers is playing out of his mind after a slow start

The Packers face the Minnesota Vikings Sunday in their second division game of the year.

To round out the NFC North, the 1-4 Bears are seven-point underdogs on the road against the Ravens and the Lions are 4.5-point road favorites against the Saints in New Orleans. Green Bay rallied from 15 points behind in the first half after letting a 21-3 lead get away in last season's playoff win. On to the snippets in the Packers-Vikings series.

So, would it be safe to expect another Packers' win this Sunday based on recent history? A Merry Christmas, indeed. Two teams that feel like they're America's team: the Cowboys for so many years, and the appeal we have nationwide with our incredible fans. The teams have largely traded blows throughout the years with a few memorable moments tossed in. The Vikings are also without standout rookie running back, Dalvin Cook, who is out for the season with an ACL injury.

Offensive coordinator: Pat Shurmer, first full season (stepped in halfway through last season for the Vikings). Keeping him contained in the pocket is essential to slowing down the Packers' passing attack. Even a year ago they gave the Packers a run. Rookie receiver Randy Moss had his coming out party and the Vikings handed the Packers their first home loss in almost three years. But at Chicago Monday night, the duo combined for just 38 receiving yards.

Dak Prescott, who had touchdown passes on Dallas' first three drives, put the Cowboys in front on an 11-yard touchdown run with 1:13 remaining to cap a 17-play drive that lasted nearly nine minutes. "It was important plays at the most important times by those guys". Green Bay exacted revenge in 2010, winning both meetings and eventually winning Super Bowl XLV.

They beat the Packers 17-14 last season in the game that christened their new stadium.

The Vikings hold a 3-2 record after beating the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. Minnesota will be looking to shut down Aaron Rodgers and the Packers' offense, but that is a tall order.

One thing I'll have my eye on heading into the game is the health of offensive tackle David Bakhtiari. In order to avoid another upset, here are three week six Green Bay Packers keys to victory. If Bridgewater is still the player we remember from 2015, the Vikings could be very risky moving forward with him at the helm.

Entering Sunday's game at Minnesota, Adams is tied with Cobb for the team lead in receptions (23) and leads the team in receiving yards (285). It was Nelson who orchestrated the bobsled celebration in that Dallas game. King's absence would force more snaps for Damarious Randall and Quinten Rollins, both of whom have had their struggles so far in this young season.

ANOTHER AARON: Aaron Jones, one of three rookie running backs on the Packers, unquestionably remains the second-best Aaron in the backfield. Diggs' absence would be a big one for the Vikings. The challenge is doing so with backup quarterback Case Keenum, who has played solid in two of his four starts.

Keenum, who set an NCAA standard at the University of Houston by passing for more than 5,000 yards three times, told reporters he anticipates starting this week and every week.

We all know the story of the Vikings quarterback situation, and if we can glean anything from the Wednesday media access at Winter Park is that the Vikings trotted out Keenum for questions again and Bradford was nowhere to be seen. If Jones can keep up the kind of production he had last week, Ty Montgomery's job will be in grave danger. "Every time you go up against this guy it's a pain in the rear end because of how hard he is to defend". "Obviously, that's a team where he'll get carries and it's more of a run style that he's familiar with, " Rudolph said. The end result has been much better; the Vikings have been able to protect the quarterback, and their run game has found a resurgence.

He's not the biggest or fastest by any stretch, but his elusiveness is tough on defenses.

Rodgers best performance against Zimmer was his last; a 136.6 rating, 347 passing yards and 5 total TD's in the Christmas Eve romp past year at Lambeau Field. Burnett is the steady defensive signal caller whose versatility allows him to also play in the box as a valuable run stopper. Athletically, he can still play the position with the best of them, but he can probably out think all of them.

That all becomes moot if the Packers can generate steady pressure up front. He's a phenomenal pass rusher.

"He knows where the open space is", Zimmer said. "If he's got the ball in his hands you've got a chance to lose". Just talking to him, really getting dialed in.
