Pokemon GO: When Does the 2017 Halloween Event End?

Pokemon Go trainers have had the release date for the Halloween event 2017 on iOS and Android confirmed today by Niantic.

Gastly, Drowzee, Cubone are back along with Sableye, Banette, and a few other Ghost-type Pokémon originally discovered in the Hoenn region.

This will be quite the opportunity for those kids fortunate (or spoiled) enough to have smartphones, as you could start seeing kids collect candy as their favorite Pokemon characters on Halloween while collecting extra virtual candy within Pokemon GO. The rest of the Pokemon from Ruby and Sapphire are going to be in the game as early as December, so there is a lot of things fans have to look forward to. And a new witch's hat for Pikachu, because ye olde electric rodent is always ready for a bit of festive fun. Players can also get more candy than normal by having the avatar wear Mimikyu's Disguise Hat. And, just like a year ago, trainers will earn extra Candy from catching, hatching, and transferring Pokemon, and buddy Pokemon will earn Candy twice as fast.

There will also new boxes that can be purchased in the in-game shop that contains a variety of different items like Super Incubators and Raid Passes.

In addition to the first Generation 3 Pokemon, a new Pikachu variant in a spooky (but pretty cute) Halloween costume will appear in the game during the event.

In other news, Express.co.uk recently revealed how Pokemon Go raids could become even easier thanks to a new Niantic feature.
