Morgan Burnett is Packers' nominee for Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award

The 2017 Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award nominees were formally announced on Tuesday. Here are some of the particulars from the league's release.

The victor of the award will be determined from a vote by current players in the NFL.

A panel of former players - Warrick Dunn, Curtis Martin, Karl Mecklenburg and Leonard Wheeler - will select eight finalists from the list of 32 nominees, four from each conference.

Heyward is an incredibly talented player but always stays within the rules and has always displayed tremendous respect for his opponents.

Each NFL team nominated one player - Heyward is the Pittsburgh Steelers' selection - for the award created in 2014 to honor the late founding owner of the Steelers.

Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald won the award the year it debuted, Raiders and Packers defensive back Charles Woodson won in 2015, and San Francisco 49ers and Indianapolis Colts running back Frank Gore won it last year.

Saffold hasn't just displayed great sportsmanship on the field this season, either.

Nicknamed "The Ghost", Hilton can often be seen playing the game with a smile and seems to have a lot of fun on the football field, especially when he's celebrating touchdowns with his teammates-much to the dismay of opposing defense backs.
