Pokemon GO's New Updates To Make Seismic Changes To Gameplay

As part of their recent effort to truly expand Pokemon Go's content offerings, Niantic has announced that they are adding dynamic weather and 50 new Generation 3 Pokemon to the mobile app.

Pokemon Go has a ton of new features coming out soon, but some much requested features are still missing.

Niantic is going to release a series of "Pokemon GO" updates starting this week. This weather change will also influence the characteristics of Pokemon whose behavior changes with the weather.

The well-known game, Pokemon Go gets an exquisite update. Your local weather patterns will impact what Pokemon will appear. These creatures were originated from "Pokemon Ruby" and "Pokemon Sapphire". The full roster hasn't been revealed as of yet, but we do know that Pokemon like Torchic, Treecko, Mudkip, and other big names from those games will make the initial cut.

Though trading and PVP battles were still on the company's overall "to-do list", Bhargava pointed out that it might take a while before the features get added into the game since Niantic still has to properly investigate the feasibility of the features. According to reports, the Gen 3 Pokemon will be out in batches, according to their themes. As the seasons change, they will encounter different Pokemon, thereby keeping their gameplay experience fresh.

"Additionally, attacks of certain types will be more effective during some weather conditions, so a Charizard's Fire Spin will perform better on sunny days, for example".

As for what's coming next, Bhargava stated that Niantic uses December as a planning month for the next year in order to start "spec-ing out" new features and planning how to market them.

Some quality of life updates are also being thrown into the game.
