For the most part, Champions' Ballad seems to be exactly what we expected it would be: a new challenge that would see players looking back at the events that happened before the game's main timeline. Suddenly, that concept art of an emo Link on a motorcycle from the Game Developers Conference makes a whole lot more sense.
Additionally, completing the Divine Beast Tamer's quests in the pack will unlock the Master Cycle Zero - a specially designed motorcycle. The game also took home awards for Best Direction and Best Acton Adventure game.
Keep in mind that you can't buy The Champions' Ballad separately. Now, during The Game Awards, it was announced that the expansion would be available to play starting tonight. To help you get up to speed with all the announcements, we've compiled all the biggest ones from the ceremony below. It will include a brand new story focusing on Mipha, Daruk, Revali, Urbosa, and Zelda, as well as new weapons, new armor, new puzzles and what looks like a new dungeon.
