Saturday Night: Becoming cloudy with scattered rain showers developing after midnight. Temperatures remain above average through Friday of next week.
Temperatures will remain in the 40s through most of next week until the next weather system arrives Thursday night. Right now we are going with a 30% chance of rain on Monday and a 50% chance of rain on Tuesday.
Tonight: Increasing clouds with lows in the upper 20s and lower 30s.
Saturday will be sunny with highs in the mid 50s. Overnight, lows will drop to the low to mid 30s.
With temperatures below freezing this morning, we could see some areas of patchy ice left over from the snow last evening leaving behind wet roads overnight, so just be cautious walking on sidewalks and roads that were likely untreated. Highs will be in the middle 40s with light winds.
WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy skies and chilly temperatures stay around with a high of 48 degrees. Overall, the main bulk of rain looks to wrap up no later than noon on Sunday.
Weekend weather outlook: Colder air blowing through Alabama and Tennessee Friday means a bigger chill than we've had the past two days, but that chill relaxes a little for the weekend.
Temperatures will slowly climb through the first part of the week with highs on Monday rising to the mid-50s. There is still a 20% chance we have a quick pop up shower in the afternoon, but most of the shower activity will be to our east.
The Winter Solstice is on Thursday, December 21st at 11:28am.
