James Franco robbed us of Tommy Wiseau's Golden Globe speech

James Franco robbed us of Tommy Wiseau's Golden Globe speech

James scooped the win for his movie The Disaster Artist and brought his brother, Dave, up on stage too as well as Tommy Wiseau.

"You know what, I don't care if it's a sh***y movie".

Franco was joined on stage by his brother Dave Franco, who also starred in the movie, and Wiseau, which made flawless sense considering the fact "The Disaster Artist" actually based on him. Why is James Franco allowed in? With any luck, he'll have a chance to turn the mic over to his Disaster Artist inspiration at the SAG Awards, Critics' Choice Movie Awards, the Spirit Awards, or maybe even the Oscars, should the trend continue and Franco is nominated.

If James Franco had let him.

Sheedy deleted the tweets, but not before they earned over 1,300 re-tweets.

Golden Globes 2018: All the fashion from the star-studded red carpet. "Please never ask me why I left the film/tv business", Sheedy wrote.

Not entirely - as Franco blocked the famously unpredictable Wiseau from having his moment at the microphone. "Ok wait. Bye. Christian Slater and James Franco at a table [at the] Golden Globes #MeToo".

James Franco and Ally Sheedy are all smiles at the after-party for The Long Shrift on July 13, 2014, in New York City.

During an appearance with "Live with Kelly and Michael", Franco admitted that he did participate in the conversation with a 17-year-old young woman while he was 35. Another actress, Sarah Tither-Kaplan, accused Franco of exploiting her in a film. Both were seemingly exiled from Hollywood as calls arose for major changes in the behaviour of powerful men in the industry. Many fans watching found it ironic that the awards show was celebrating women's empowerment and an end to sexual misconduct while still promoting actors with troublesome pasts. The younger Franco seemed reluctant at first, but if there's anything he's learned in his 32 years on this earth, it's that whatever his older brother says, goes.
