With the recent change in the 149 plan of Jio 4G, now all prepaid users can enjoy 1GB daily data usage with unlimited calling.
Those who happen to use excessive internet data can buy a plan for anywhere between Rs 300 to Rs 350 a month, or 28 days to be precise.
Unlike BSNL's new packs, Reliance Jio is offering 1GB data per day for 28 days along with unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls at. The plan offers 2GB data daily. The pack that earlier offer 150MB 4G data and now the pack offers 1GB daily data. Interestingly, in Odisha, Rajasthan and Haryana circles, both the Rs. 458 and Rs. 509 plans offer validity of 84 days, which essentially leaves the latter redundant. Jio subscribers are also provided with the upgraded Rs. 349 pack that offers similar benefits for 70 days.
Data Plans of Jio - The 198 plan of Jio is the first plan that offers 1.5GB daily data. The validity of this pack is 70 days.
In comparison to Airtel, Reliance Jio with its Rs. 398 pack offers 1.5GB high-speed 4G data per day (after 1.5GB Jio offers unlimited data at 64Kbps). This pack also features unlimited calls and 100 SMS daily. The 509 plan of Jio offers 3GB data per day. Also, Jio is cheaper than Airtel and Vodafone. Plan 448 of Jio offers 126GB data for a period of 84 days and plan 498 of Jio offers 136GB data for 91 days. Users can also get access to personal ring back tone for a period of 28 days. For example, the Rs. 349 pack gives helps prepaid users with 2GB data daily, unlimited local, STD and roaming calls with 100 SMS per day. The telecom operator is offering either 43 percent of extra validity or 50 percent additional data.
In the past, Airtel has launched competitive offers to take on Jio's continuing onslaught on tariff rates in India's telecom scene.
