Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Switch sales top 500000

SYFY WIRE's Jackie Jennings walks us through everything you (maybe) didn't know about Dragon Ball Z, and whether you're a newbie or a hardcore fan, there's a ton of exciting information about the anime series to be found below. However, those who pre-order Dragon Ball FighterZ digitally will be able to jump into the beta 24 hours early, on January 13.

Total sales for the Switch version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, including both physical and digital sales, have topped 500,000 copies worldwide, Bandai Namco announced.

Bandai Namco has released yet another Dragon Ball FighterZ trailer today, showcasing "legendary assassin" Hit as he beats the living crap out of blue barneted Super Saiyan God Goku. Many fans could not accept that Hit is already out of the game, which resulted in speculations that it was only the phantom of Hit that was eliminated. Hit is known for his ability to Time-Skip, giving him an advantage over his opponents. Though most characters in the game come from Dragon Ball Z - with an emphasis on the Cell Saga - FighterZ has utilized a number of newer characters, such as Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, Super Saiyan Blue Goku, and Beerus. Those who have yet to reserve a copy of the game thankfully only have to wait a day until they can join the brawl, with the beta opening up on Sunday, January 14, 2018 for all players.
