It is being reported that Paige's in-ring career in WWE is over. After being away from the WWE for almost 18 months due to a string of suspensions, surgeries and public scandals, she finally returned to the ring on the November 20 episode of Monday Night Raw, introducing the new faction Absolution alongside Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.
Paige was taking part in a six woman tag team bout when she got hurt. WWE is still advertising her for the women's Royal Rumble match.
It's being said the company wants to keep her in a non-wrestling role much like Daniel Bryan now is the GM of Smackdown Live.
WWE superstar Paige has reportedly been advised to retire due to injury, according to a report.
However, since 2016 she's been involved in multiple drug violations that kept her out of action for a long period of time and had a major neck injury that needed surgery.
But now that we know she's known about being potentially retired at just 25 years-old, this post could be a defiant message that she wants to return to the ring no matter what. Paige was quickly examined by WWE medical personnel and a stretcher was brought out to carry her back to the locker room. She would go on to win that title a second time that August. However, Paige was able to leave the ring under her own power. She and El Patron were also involved in a high-profile incident at airport that led police to consider domestic violence charges against both wrestlers. It's also possible the company could tap her to Coach in the NXT system or attempt to transition her into another on camera role.
Outside of WWE, Paige had been attempting to build a separate brand for herself under the name "Saraya" with the assistance of former WWE star Rosa Mendes and her husband.
