Mike Tomlin expects Antonio Brown to play vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

The only player it seems Ramsey does respect on the Steelers is wide receiver Antonio Brown.

The Steelers sent Brown home from practice Friday due to an illness, though he's going to play Sunday.

"I didn't want him to get any of the guys that weren't sick sick". "We'll bring him back in the building tomorrow and continue on with his game readiness but I really don't have a lot of reservations from a physical health standpoint".

Wide receiver Jaydon Mickens (hamstring) also was limited in practice for a second straight day, while the Jaguars downgraded linebacker Blair Brown (ankle), who was unable to practice Thursday after participating on a limited basis Wednesday. "We do need to get him well from an illness standpoint".

According to Aditi Kinkhabwala of ESPN, head coach Mike Tomlin stated on Friday that he expects Brown to take the field on Sunday against the Jaguars.

Brown suffered the calf injury early in the December 17 loss to New England and missed the two subsequent games.

Brown finished the 2017 season with an NFL-best 1,533 receiving yards.

Brown has 44 catches for 705 yards and two touchdowns in nine career playoff games.
