During this morning's Nintendo Direct, the company announced a Switch port of the cult-classic DS/iOS RPG The World Ends With You. There will be touch-screen functionality similarly to how the iOS version, though you can still play with a controller.

As anticipated as the remastered edition was, it was never expected to release at the typical full price of a video game. The DLC will be available this Spring. Wave 1 will have Aegislash and support pokemonRayquaza and Mimikyu. There are multiplayer benefits also, now around 6 players can play together in a team.

The game will be called Kirby Star Allies and is set to release on March 16th.

A demo for the Dragon Quest Builders Demo is now available on Nintendo Switch and it will be released by the end of this month. No specific release date was mentioned, but it is now planned for sometime during the year.

Nintendo has promised new gameplay elements which will test the player's ability to read your opponent's position on the court, as well as their tennis stroke. This game will be releasing this Spring.

The playable characters shown also have sporty new looks. The demo will take you through the first chapter of the game. SNK Heroines utilizes only the female characters from the series as the name implies, and it utilizes a fairly simplified input system only requiring one button. What we also did see is Mario Tennis Aces, the one new announcement from Nintendo. It is unknown if there will be a Rabbid DK to accompany him.

A new version of "Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze" will also be arriving to the hybrid console. Funky can use his surfboard to hover in mid-air and stomp on spikes.
