During the only holiday during the year where love is celebrated - Valentine's Day of course - Blake Griffin's ex-girlfriend Brynn Cameron is suing Griffin for palimony - compensation made by one member of an unmarried couple to the other after separation - after their breakup.
Everyone talks about Blake Griffin's current relationship with Kendall Jenner, but people forget that he basically ditched his ex and baby mama, Brynn Cameron, who he was with on and off for eight years, to be with the model. Although they have two children together and were engaged previous year, he called off the wedding when he was rumored to have started dating Jenner.
According to the lawsuit, Cameron refused to sign a prenuptial agreement a month before their wedding, and Griffin called it off a week before the scheduled date of July 28, 2017.
"Griffin cared more about the glamour of dating a Hollywood celebrity than the day-to-day responsibilities of being a father and family man".
Soon after the sessions, Cameron discovered through media reports that Griffin was dating Jenner.
Blake Griffin Sued for Palimony, You Abandoned Our Family for Kendall Jenner! But he was traded to the Pistons on January 29, according to Bleacher Report. "In Griffin's absence, Cameron's brother [Jordan, a former National Football League tight end] has had to provide Cameron and the children with financial support".
"Griffin himself, however, knows very well what breaching promises is all about".
It was reported in December that Griffin's romance with Jenner had sparked a nasty custody battle.
The two began dating through Griffin's first year in the National Basketball Association and Cameron claims she was a source of support for him after he injured himself. The suit also claims that Griffin promised to take care of her and the kid financially for the rest of their lives.
She also claims she helped Blake with his communication skills - including how to speak with teammates and coaches when issues would arise.
