The Curse of the Pharaohs DLC Arrives Tomorrow on AC Origins

If you have been waiting for Ubisoft to bring you more of Bayek's adventure through the sands and history of Egypt then you're in luck. In this final DLC content of the game, lead character Bayek will be traveling to Thebes to inspect an ancient curse causing the plague in the entire region. Bayek's objective would be to hunt down key artifacts linked to each pharaoh in order to put them to rest. Once there, he discovers that dead Pharaohs have returned to haunt the living. The Shadows are physical manifestations of the undead pharaohs, and every so often, they'll randomly appear as time-limited bosses and go on a rampage. Along the way, he'll battle a variety of mythological beasts and famous Egyptian pharaohs, including Nefertiti and giant scorpions.

In the meantime, you can check out some of the gameplay ahead of tomorrow's launch.

Players will have an expanded level top to 55, seven new capacities, buffs to aptitudes like Dash Boost and Overpower Fury and even four new bows and arrows abilities. Some of these are buffs to other abilities, like Dash Boost, which rewards ideal dodges with a damage boost.

Assassin's Creed Origins: The Curse of the Pharaohs is out March 13 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It's included in the Season Pass for Assassin's Creed Origins, or can be purchased separately for $19.99.
