England-based businessman, Mohammed Bhai, who is the center of Mohammed Shami's match-fixing allegations has denied any wrongdoing and claims he will cooperate with the investigating agencies. When I came to know that he (Shami) was travelling via Dubai and it was the same time I also was going to be in Dubai to meet my sister.
"Yes, I met him".
Following Jahan's complaint, an FIR was filed against Mohammed Shami under sections 498A (Husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty), 323 (Causing hurt), 307 (Attempt to murder), 376 (Punishment for rape), 506 (Criminal intimidation), 328 (Causing hurt by means of poison, etc., with intent to commit an offence.), 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code against Shami and 4 others.
Hasin claimed that Shami met a Pakistani girl named Alishba and even took money from her during his stay in Dubai. Shami's wife had earlier alleged that Shami abused her physically and mentally on multiple occasions and has been involved in extra-marital affairs.
"I visited the hotel next morning at around 8-9 a.m. and had a breakfast with him [Shami]".
"I only appeal that you just keep your eye on my fight for truth, meet me and listen to what I have to say and then judge what needs to be done", she had told media, and added, "I want to meet you and share my pain with you". But Alishba denied knowing Mohammad Bhai.
She even stated that Shami had just flippantly responded to the insecurity and jealous nature of his wife that he had just exchanged some money.
Shami's wife has given a confession to a magistrate which bounds her by law now.
Earlier on Monday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed to Kolkata Police that Shami stayed in a hotel in Dubai on February 17 and 18 on Indian cricket team's journey back to India from South Africa. "However, since she was not at home, I left a letter with the officials outside her house seeking an appointment", she said. She had plans to destroy my family life.
