The second component of Ayushman Bharat is to provide insurance cover to 40% of India's population for secondary and tertiary care. Under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, the government aims to open 1.5 lakh health and wellness centre by 2022, which would be equipped to treat host of diseases, including blood pressure, diabetes, cancer and old-age illness. "In all the districts of the country, the rule providing for allocation of a part of the income from mining to local tribal folk has been implemented", said Mr Modi. He said there will be free dialysis facility for the poor of the state and doctors will be available 24 hours. It would be connected to the district hospital for advanced tele-medical consultations. His visit to Chhattisgarh coincides with the birth anniversary of Dalit icon Dr B R Ambedkar.
