Eagles corner Daryl Worley has been arrested, according to multiple reports.
The source tells Action News that Worley became combative and officers used a Taser. A gun was also recovered during the arrest.
Carolina dealt Worley to the Eagles this offseason in a trade for veteran wide receiver Torrey Smith.
The incident occurred near the Eagles' facility on Broad and Patterson street according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
Worley entered a no contest plea and was given a six-month suspended sentence for an altercation with a woman outside a nightclub, when he was in college.
Worley pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor assault charge during his college career at West Virginia, and the Panthers chose to move on from the young defensive back after two seasons.
Worley was expected to compete for a starting job in Philadelphia.
