Before he nearly certainly embarks on filming James Bond 25, with production on that set to start at the end of the year, Danny Boyle will be shooting his thus-far untitled musical comedy.

Over the last few years, Ed Sheeran has developed a habit of making surprise cameo appearances in TV and film-most notably in the Season 7 premiere of Game of Thrones as a Lannister solider.

Tentatively titled All You Need is Love, it is about a struggling musician who believes he is the only person who can remember the songs of the Beatles.

The Untitled Danny Boyle/Richard Curtis Comedy will be produced by Working Title's Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner (Les Misérables, Darkest Hour, Bridget Jones's series) alongside Matt Wilkinson (Kaleidoscope) and Bernie Bellew (Steve Jobs). He'll reportedly appear on screen and write new music for the movie, which will also feature Beatles songs.

Working Title is producing the film, written by Richard Curtis (Love Actually, Notting Hill). What we do know is that Lily James (Baby Driver) and Himesh Patel (Eastenders) will star in it, with SNL actress Kate McKinnon in discussions for it. Slumdog Millionaire moviemaker Boyle will direct the project from a script penned by Richard Curtis.

On the night, he performed an acoustic version of the Beatles' hit In My Life in front of an audience which included the two surviving members of the Fab Four, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.

Shooting will take place over the summer for a 2019 release.
