Man convicted of sexual assault on minor in name of witchcraft

On Saturday afternoon, officers were called to a foster home on Cornwallis Crescent where a resident was accused of assaulting two staff members.

The charges allegedly relate to a period of nearly two years which was more than a decade ago - although one of the charges alleges that a sexual assault occurred more recently, in 2013.

Clifton Dillon, 45, 117 Quitman Drive, McComb, has been charged with sexual battery in connection with the assault of a vulnerable adult, McComb police Detective Lt. Shannon Sullivan said.

The man appeared at Naas Circuit Court last Friday morning, April 13, and pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.

Online court records show an arrest warrant has been issued for Klumb.

That same night, a man told police he was assaulted earlier in the day by two other males while leaving a local shopping mall with his girlfriend. Assistant Chief Orlando Garcia tells News Center 23's Derick Garcia, "other victims may be out there" Edinburg police have taken this case because the victim claims Mission pastor, Melquisedec Chan injected her with an unknown substance and was rendered unconscious. "If the testimony of the victim is trustworthy and reliable, the accused can be convicted on the sole testimony of reliable witness", it said.

His bail was set at $100,000 at a court appearance Monday at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse.
