Winds are expected to increase Tuesday with sustained winds between 20 and 35 miles per hour and gusts as high as 45 miles per hour, meteorologists predict.

Monday will still be fairly nice with highs in the low 80s, but winds will be increasing out of the south-southeast around 15-25 & gusting. As temperatures drop Wednesday night into Thursday morning we could see some snowflakes mixed in with the raindrops.

There will be more thundery showers in the days ahead, the Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS) said in its fortnightly weather forecast yesterday. Wind gets very strong Wednesday, but we should keep a good deal of blue sky through midweek.

A few passing clouds Wednesday and a couple of showers possible Wednesday night with a much weaker cold front passing through.

Monday: Sunny, warm & dry, turning windy... I have us dry Tuesday night. Showers linger both Saturday and Sunday with cool highs in the 50's.

Today's high temperatures will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Winds will gust to 30-35 miles per hour. The highest wind gust so far has been 52mph, which happened at 4AM. Skies remain mostly clear, temperatures won't be as cold, falling into the upper 30's around Springfield.

Friday is expected to be sunny with highs in the mid-70s. No significant rainfall is expected, meaning more high fire danger and elevated pollen levels.
