Coming to the optics department, the Nokia X6 will feature a dual rear camera setup with two 12-megapixel Carl Zeiss lens. Now some renders of a new model of the Nokia X series named as Nokia X6 has surfaced online. It also houses a biometric scanner below the camera sensor. Although there is no information available on the exact configuration of the dual rear cameras, it is expected to be similar to Nokia 7 Plus. There's a thin chin on both top and bottom of the phone.
"Nokia's first notched touchscreen will be 5.8" in size and have 19:9 aspect ratio. Below the display, towards the left, there's the Nokia logo. The smartphone, as the report claims will come with "bezel-free display".
According to the new report, the new Nokia X6 will sport a 5.8-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2280 × 1080 pixels. Model numbers mentioned for the two variants are TA-1109 and TA-1099, and based on the listing, these will likely be budget smartphones.
There could be two variants, one powered by a MediaTek P60, while the other will utilize a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor.
Both the Nokia 6.1 and the Nokia 7 Plus have USB type-C and they run the latest version of Android.
The Nokia 7 Plus, which is a totally new device category is a really interesting device. The base variant will feature 4GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage while the premium variant will come with 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage.
The colour buffs will have to turn to the low-priced Nokia 1, a member of the Android Go program that complements the Android One program that both the Nokia 7 Plus and the Nokia 6.1 (the other name for that device) belong to. Past rumours had revealed that the upcoming Nokia X series phone will come with 10W charge, which means that the smartphone will not support fast charging capability.
