The OnePlus 6 global launch will be held in London at 5pm BST (9:30pm IST) and will be live streamed so you can catch the action in real-time. This has been proven further after Amazon utilized the image above to market the OnePlus 6. We have to say, the company has succeeded in creating a buzz around the flagship. OnePlus 6 launch comes barely six months after its mid-cycle refresh, the OnePlus 5T, which launched in November 2017. You can follow OnePlus' official website and YouTube page to watch the livestream.
The display will feature a notch as confirmed by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei (who later took down his tweet) and previous leaks and the recent one from TENAA also seem to lock on 6.28-inch display sporting an FHD+ resolution. But thankfully, the resemblance ends there. There will be a 2.5 D curved edge Gorilla Glass screen on the front and a more rounded and curved screen on the back with a metal frame sandwiched in between. So, there is strong possibility that the device will support wireless charging, which was sorely missed in the nearly flawless predecessor (OnePlus 5T). Another change in look will be a glass back on the OnePlus 6 which is also a first for the company.
Any phone with IP68 ratings is supposed to survive in the water submerged for up to five feet (1.5 meters) for close to 30 minutes. Still then, this year's OnePlus 6 going by the rumours and leaks seems to be quite prepared even if the above mentioned features are missing. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 mobile platform with Adreno 630 GPU.
Additionally, the phone is rumored to come with new Dash Charge v2.0, wherein a 20-minute charge is enough to fuel the device for a full day talk-time capability.
OnePlus 6 will launch its next flagship phone OnePlus 6 tonight.
