Shortly after the show's finale, Freeform announced a spin-off titled Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists.

That's per the first trailer, which just took us to the town of Beacon Heights, "a seemingly ideal town" where "a group of three college friends struggle with the stress of being overachievers".

In The Perfectionists' first 10 episodes, fans will see Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish reprise their Pretty Little Liars roles, but these girls are not in Rosewood anymore.

King is responsible for writing the new series" pilot episode (which was directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum), and will serve as an executive producer throughout its run alongside "PLL' veterans Charlie Craig, Lisa Cochran-Neilan, Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo. Eli Brown, Graeme Thomas King, Sydney Park, Hayley Erin and Kelly Rutherford will all also star.

"The stress of needing to be flawless leads to the town's first murder".

The trailer was released following the news that the Pretty Little Liars spin-off has been picked up for a full season. Others are happy to have something PLL related back on the air, tweeting: "MY LIFE WILL MAKE SENSE AGAIN, I REPEAT, MY LIFE WILL MAKE SENSE AGAIN" and "I'm crying, im so happy they are back". This is the second spinoff to come out of Pretty Little Liars.

Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists is being produced by Alloy Entertainment and Long Lake Media in association with Warner Horizon Scripted Television. The first, Ravenswood, was canceled after one season.
