Nintendo Reveals Mech Action Game Daemon X Machina

The game sees players take their customisable mech suit on a variety of missions to thwart an enemy threat.

Nintendo didn't open up with a game from Zelda, Mario, or Metroid but instead went with an entirely new IP called Darmon X Machina.

Daemon X Machina is being developed by Marvelous Entertainment and is built on Unreal Engine 4, but an exact release date was not announced, with the trailer providing a vague 2019 time frame.

While a new IP, Daemon X Machina boasts some impressive talent on its team.

As many fans expected, games coming to the Nintendo Switch occupied a great part of Nintendo's E3 press event.

This is the next game from Armored Core series producer Kenichiro Tsukuda, in which you will battle freely in the air and on the ground in your Arsenal, a fully customisable powered suit. Yusuke Kozaki, who worked on "Fire Emblem Awakening", supplied "Daemon X's" character designs. Players can even swipe weapons from downed opponents and immediately equip them to change their strategy.
