Days after Cardi B allegedly physically assaulted Nicki Minaj and her entourage at a New York Fashion Week party then defended her actions in a scathing Instagram note, Minaj has launched a full-scale defensive attack on her Queen radio show. She, however, resorted to throwing her shoe at Nicki when security stopped her from getting any closer. Cardi was escorted out of the building by security with one shoe on her foot and a lump on her forehead.
However, according to several reports, what led to Cardi being confrontational with Nicki is the fact that she reportedly liked a tweet that questioned Cardi B's competence as a mother.
She claimed that Nicki Minaj spoke about her parenting skills regarding new-born daughter Kulture and disrespected her privately since her breakthrough success. But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f**king off! I never had to bang a DJ to play my songs. It's so sad for someone to pin that on me.
I just want people to know that Onika Tanya Maraj has never, will never... speak ill on anyone's child. I am not a clown, that's clown s**t.
As you can see, security quickly got involved to hold Cardi back. But we did hear this woman say that nothing's off limits... because she has built her career off of sympathy and payola.
The Nicki Minaj and Cardi B beef is still very much ongoing, especially since Nicki hopped on her Beats 1 radio show today to talk about the infamous brawl that went down this weekend. "FYI, she refers to black women as monkeys and roaches".
Nicki went on to accuse Cardi of having other women (seemingly strippers) attacked, both financially and physically, due to their alleged associations with her husband, Offset: "You getting girls beat up because of what your man's doing?" In a lengthy post Cardi started by revealing, "I let a lot of sh*t slide!"
