Google Pixel 3 XL leaks likely an elaborate ‘marketing stunt’, claims YouTuber

The setup screen for Pixel 2 XL on Android Pie keeps on showing a perfectly bezel-less smartphone. The devices, especially the Pixel 3 XL have been heavily leaked and has even seen a full unboxing video done before it's even launched. There might be a chance that the Pixel 3 XL was just a dummy device by Google to divert everyone from the real device. In a breakdown of current rumors surrounding the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL by Forbes, Brooke Crothers mentions that based on speculation, the standard Google Pixel 3 may be the better bang for buck smartphone purchase between the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL. The price tags of the smartphones, however, remain unknown, with what is perhaps the only important detail left for Google to announce on October 9.

This year, the rumours of Pixel Ultra surface because of everything that has happened with the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL so far.

On Oct. 9, Google will likely unveil several other products beyond its new Pixel smartphones, similar to how last year's Pixel 2 unveiling was joined by other devices. The new report now seems to be adding some of the more valuable information about the Pixel 3's model.

By comparison the current 6-inch Pixel 2 XL has slim top and bottom bezels with a camera shooter at top and speakers at top and bottom, introductory price at $849. The Youtuber relinquish his original theory and claimed that the Google will indeed release a notched Pixel 3 XL.

If these leaks are completely bluff or fake, what does the actual Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL look like?

Over the past one month, we have been subjected to a host of Pixel 3 leaks and so far, none of them have been impressive - thanks to uninspiring designs with a big notch and a fat chin. The Lyft driver who found the Pixel 3 XL shared images of it with Android Police, who confirmed that it appeared to be a pre-production unit. Seemingly, Google wants to know the people's reaction about the Pixel 3 XL notch design.
