Pyongyang views the military exercise termed Ulchi Freedom Guardian as a rehearsal for an actual attack on the North. The United Nations Command's military armistice commission notified the DPRK at about 9:40 a.m. The annually-held Ulchi Freedom Guardian (UFG) will be conducted from August 22 to September 2, Combined Forces Command said in a press release. The training involves twenty five thousand American troops and fifty thousand South Korean soldiers.



Stocks fall in early trading as oil prices decline
