Space Exploration Technologies' launch on Monday was completed as part of a contract between spacecraft maker Ball Aerospace (NYSE:BLL) and the National Reconnaissance Office , which oversees USA spy satellites. Musk battled for years to break the monopoly on the military's launch business held by United Launch Alliance , a partnership of Lockheed Martin and Boeing.



NHS cyber chaos hits thousands of patients

The ransomware, called "WannaCry", locks down all the files on an infected computer and demands the administrator pay to regain control of them. Pictures on social media showed screens of NHS computers with images demanding payment of US$300 in Bitcoin, saying: "Ooops, your files have been encrypted!" Payment is demanded within three days or the price is doubled, and if none is received within seven days the files will be deleted, according to the screen message.
