Epic is also releasing 1,500 environment assets along with a sample map for testing or customisation. Each character pack includes the base meshes, textures, skins, animations, abilities and character FX, and dialogue. Smart move on Epic's part. But there is some light at the end of the tunnel, as it appears that some of Paragon's prized assets will continue to live on, thanks to the Unreal Engine tech, as well as Epic Games' generosity.

Furthermore, the ExaDrive DC100 is said to draw 85 per cent less power per TB than its bumper capacity rivals. Nimbus is now sampling the DC series to key strategic customers, and is expected to have general availability in the summer of 2018. Similarly, the drive has encryption, multiple ECC processors, and a proprietary secure-erase feature to ensure data security.
