Famed record label executive L.A. Reid is leaving his post as President of Epic Records. Reid started out as a musician in the early 1980s. After the stint, he relocated from his hometown of Cincinnati to Atlanta and established LaFace Records with fellow band member Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds under the Arista umbrella.
