There's no word on what the new game from Platinum will be about, but they've really become masters of the hack-and-slash genre, so if they can manage to pump out a game with the same level of quality in storytelling and characterizations that they had in Yoko Taro's Nier: Automata , they could quickly raise their critical clout to the levels now held by studios like Naughty Dog.
